Auxiliary Organizations

Insurance coverage may be provided to auxiliary organizations, with the exception of Booster Clubs.  All Booster Clubs endorsed to the NCSIG policy must secure coverage outside of the Memorandum of Coverage no later than June 30, 2019.  Coverage will terminate for all Booster Clubs still endorsed to the NCSIG Memorandum of Coverage on June 30, 2019.

All entities requesting approval must submit a completed application for coverage, be approved by the sponsoring district Board, be approved by the NCSIG Board and be approved by the Board of any additional self-funded or insurance organizations in which NCSIG participates (such as NCR or SAFER) prior to being effective.  Entities approved by the district, but not endorsed under their Memorandum of Coverage, will be required to obtain a General Liability policy with coverage limits of at least $1,000,000 and name the district as an Additional Insured.  The District must have this agreement in writing to make the certificate of insurance from the non-endorsed organization legally binding. 

The district requesting endorsement of an auxiliary organization agrees and is responsible for maintaining adherence with applicable State and Federal laws, including, but not limited to:

• California Education Code 51520-51521; and
• California Education Code 72670-72682; and/or
• California Code of Regulations “Title 5” 59255-59272
