Administrative Regulation 4130
NCSIG will assist in providing member districts with Mandated Reporter training materials for all employees and volunteers. The training will be administered to new employees within the first six weeks of employment. Annually, all employees are required to complete the training within the first six weeks of the beginning of the school year.
The employee completion records shall be kept indefinitely. Should a claim occur, the member district will be held responsible for the full member retained limit into the program if the compliance requirements were not fulfilled at the time the loss occurred.
